<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens shift mechanism which hardly has a structure complicated and facilitates a shift operation even when shifting a projection lens unit vertically and horizontally. <P>SOLUTION: The lens shift mechanism shifts a lens unit attached to a lens holder 3 thereof in a direction orthogonal to an optical axis thereof.
