<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blanking plate for holding and sealing materials of waste gas treating bodies, improving the durability of blanking blades when the holding and sealing materials are cut out of an inorganic fiber mat having a prescribed thickness using a blanking method. <P>SOLUTION: The blanking plate 11 for the holding and sealing materials of the waste gas treating bodies is provided with platy blanking blades 13 protruding in the vertical direction on a substrate 12 and designed to blank the holding and sealing materials of a prescribed shape in the thickness direction from the sheet-like inorganic fiber mat.
