PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver not generating a silence time caused by no reception of an EMM signal even immediately after the application of power. SOLUTION: The receiver 1 receives a contents signal for the pre-acquisition of the EMM signal when no reception section for content viewing is driven so as to acquire the EMM signal and when a user desires content acquisition, the receiver 1 has already acquired.
