PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head achieving stable ejection of ink by preventing air bubbles from being left in the upstream side of a nozzle of a filter element such as mesh filter that is provided in an inkjet head owing to the efficient use of the open area of the filter element. SOLUTION: The inkjet head has a channel communicating with the atmosphere from the upstream side region of the filter element such as mesh filter provided in the inkjet head, with regard to the nozzle without passing through the filter element and the nozzle.
