PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a main body case from being overheated by electrification for a long time in an electric heater, in a heating cooker attached with the electric heater inside the main body case. SOLUTION: This heating cooker attached with a top plate on an upper face of the main body case, and attached with the electric heater in an under side of the top plate to heat a cooking object mounted on the top plate by the electric heater is provided with a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature of the electric heater, and a control circuit for controlling the electrification in the electric heater, and the control circuit is constituted to start counting of a timer when a detection temperature of the temperature sensor comes to a prescribed temperature or more, and to set the maximum set heating power to a preset prescribed low heating power when a counted time reaches a preset prescribed time.
