PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker enabling not only an abled-body person but also an elderly person and handicapped person to easily and safely open and close a door by devising a structure of a handle of a vertically opening open/close door. SOLUTION: The heating cooker is provided with a rotating handle 7 provided on a front surface of the heating cooker 1, and rotating freely around a vertical axis to a side surface of the open/close door 2 provided on a side surface upper part of the open/close door 2 opening and closing perpendicularly to a floor surface.
