PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flushing device capable of making the effect of illumination conspicuous, improving the flexibility of design and, at the same time, facilitating its attachment. SOLUTION: The flushing device 10 equipped with a water discharge device 15 discharging water as a discharge current W and a bowl 12 receiving the discharge current W is provided to a low tank 6 of a western flash toilet 1. The flushing device 10 is equipped with an LED 16 capable of irradiating directional light, located apart from a reflector 17 against which the discharge current W directly collides and capable of causing the light to enter the discharge current W from the reflector 17.
