PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-liquid separator prevented from being clogged, having members prevented from getting into contact with each other for avoiding wear of the members and entaglement of fibers, and capable of realizing a drastic reduction in maintenance and control costs with simultaneously keeping a predetermined processing efficiency. SOLUTION: A filter body is constituted of a cylindrical movable member 18 formed by stacking a large number of spacers and circular transfer plates alternately in many layers in the axial direction in the interior of a tubular fixed member formed by stacking a large number of pacers and fixed plates each having a circular hole alternately in many layers in the axial direction. The transfer plates 29 of the movable member 18 individually have an opening section 40 and a protruding edge 42 extending inward (to the center of the circle) from the outer side of the opening 40, and the edges 42 are positionally shifted within a plane vertically crossing the axial direction and continuously arranged in the axial direction to form a spiral staircase.
