<p>A shower drain adapter (14) configured to allow use of a bondable waterproof membrane (38) with a shower pan drain system comprises a drain body (16) and a lower mating flange (18) extending from the drain body. The lower mating flange is operable to mate with an upper portion (12a) of a body of a shower pan drain (12) installable on a waste pipe. An integrated bonding flange (20) extends from the drain body and is operable to be sealably attached to a bondable waterproof membrane to provide a waterproof seal between the membrane and the adapter.</p> |
