<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress erroneous determination when an injector jetting a fuel is changed in determination for abnormality of an engine having an injector for cylinder injection and an injector for intake passage injection. <P>SOLUTION: An engine ECU performs a program including a step (S126) of reducing an averaging value KGSM for calculating a fuel correction amount FAFKGD for monitoring by averaging a fuel correction amount FAF without performing the abnormality determination of the injector and the counting of the number of times C of the abnormality determination when a value of an injection area elapsed time counter < set time (YES in S113) when the injection area for which an injector jetting a fuel is specified is changed.
