OPTICAL COMMUNICATION NETWORK, NODE DEVICE, AND METHOD OF RELIEVING PATH FAULT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent quick switching, and the occurrence of unnecessary switching in an optical communication network, a node device, and a path fault relieving method.

SOLUTION: Each link of a spare path, or the normality is monitored between each link and a node. When the spare path cannot be used, at least one of nodes at both the ends of a partial path section is changed to another node on a current path, thus changing the partial path section for setting another spare path, and inhibiting the generation of an alarm in a fault monitor for canceling the inhibition after the change is completed when the fault monitor capable of detecting abnormal information accumulatively is changed to the changed partial current path section.
