<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of suitably operating a fuel cell in response to the operation state of the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell system 1A equipped with the fuel cell 2 is provided with: a temperature sensor 22 for detecting the temperature of the fuel cell system 1A; an operation control part 61 for controlling the operation of the fuel cell 2 in a normal operation condition or a subfreezing operation condition facilitating startup of the fuel cell 2; a thaw determination part 62 for detecting a non-frozen state or frozen state of the operated fuel cell 2; and a freeze determination part 63 for determining whether or not the temperature of the fuel cell system 1A has reached low temperature below a freezing point during stop of the fuel cell system 1A based on the temperature detected by the temperature sensor 22. In starting the fuel cell system 1A, the operation control part 61 controls the operation of the fuel cell 2 in the subfreezing operation condition when the determination result of the freeze determination part 63 shows that the temperature has reached low temperature below the freezing point, and changes over the operational condition to the normal operation condition when the thaw determination part 62 detects a thaw condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
