<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize advertising content carried on a retrieval site as a window for information retrieval. <P>SOLUTION: This advertising content presentation system is provided with a means for making inquiries for a retrieval keyword sent from a browser terminal to a record database in which a plurality of records are stored and managed, and for returning the pertinent records to the browser terminal, a Japanese conversion means for outputting a converted word obtained by converting input Roman characters into Japanese syllabary/Chinese characters, a means for monitoring key input circumstances in the browser terminal, and for applying the Roman characters to be key-input in a process for inputting the retrieval keyword to the Japanese conversion means, and for sending the list of the pertinent conversion words to the browser terminal and a means for, when information showing that one converted word in the list of converted words has been selected from the browser terminal is sent, making inquiries for the selected converted word to an advertisement database in which a plurality of advertising content is stored and managed to acquire the advertising content associated with a relevant word, and for returning the advertising content to the browser terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
