PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lighting device of which a chromaticity at shipment from the factory is within a range of white color with high purity and so is it after an elapse of long time, for one generating white color light by a light source consisting of a plurality of light-emitting elements emitting different colors.

SOLUTION: For the lighting device generating white color light by a light source consisting of a plurality of light-emitting elements emitting different colors, an initial luminous brightness of each light-emitting element is so set that an initial chromaticity and that after an elapse of a given period of time are within a given white color range.
