<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter for a card capable of preventing a side section of the card mounted for a long period from generating gaps. <P>SOLUTION: The adapter provides a housing 10 which has a width dimension applicable to a card-inserting section of a connector and gives access to a surface side where a contact section 3 of the mounted card 1 is formed, and a metal frame body 11 which is embedded in the housing 10 and has both side sections 11b and 11c forming the width dimension approximately equal to a width dimension of the card 1 and permits insertion of the card 1. The metal frame body 11 is constituted of a connection section 11f forming a separate restriction means, together with both side sections 11b and 11c, a bottom section 11a, and projecting sections 11d and 11e which organize a restriction means for restricting movement of the card 1 mounted on the housing 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
