<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication controller, a communication control program and a printer using the same for achieving the power saving of the interface with simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: When any of the Ethernet control part, USB control part, centronics control part and radio LAN control part configuring an interface control part 10 receives data from an external terminal, a power source/clock control part 14 counts the use frequency of an interface which has received the data. The use frequency of each interface is stored as a cumulative value by a storage part 16. The power source/clock control part 14 arranges the cumulative values of the use frequency in the order of larger value, and when prescribed conditions are satisfied by the difference of the cumulative values of the n-th and n+1st use frequency from the high order, the supply of a power source and/or clock is stopped for the interface where the cumulative value of its use frequency is small, that is, the cumulative value of the n+1st and following use frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
