摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light transmitter having a large refractive index between the center axis and the periphery, with respect to the refractive index distribution type light transmitter which is prepared by using self-propagating frontal polymerization utilizing heat storage effect and has the refractive index changed gradually from the center axis. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the refractive index distribution type light transmitter having the refractive index changed gradually from the center axis, by using the self-propagating frontal polymerization utilizing heat storage effect, the self-propagating frontal polymerization is caused to progress from the center part of a polymerization vessel toward the periphery part of the polymerization vessel and/or from the periphery part of the polymerization vessel toward the center part of the polymerization vessel, while using monomer, polymer and polymerization initiator as material.
