PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker miniaturizable by making a steam generator compact. SOLUTION: In this heating cooker, a control device 80 is capable of adjusting the amount of drain from the steam generator 40 by adjusting the opening of a drain valve 70. Only the amount of water supply can thereby be drained from the drain valve 70 while supplying water to the steam generator 40 from a water supply pump 35. Consequently, hot water in the steam generator 40 can be cooled and drained while keeping the water level in the steam generator 40 constant. The steam generator can thereby be prevented from the rise of the water level when cooling water is supplied, and there is no need to secure an extra space for preventing the overflow of water.
