PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a command transmitter to control a motor-driven window blind with directable vanes, the transmitter having control buttons and a movable control element moving bi-directionally along an imaginary operation axis, and improving the drawbacks of the conventional known transmitter having these control buttons and the movable control element on its primary surface. SOLUTION: The control buttons for controlling the vane movements in opposite directions are provided at the sides of the movable control element, and the control buttons are located outside the exclusion region defined by two straight lines, of which bisector is in parallel with the imaginary operation axis of the movable control element, crossing each other at the center of the movable control element at an angle of 60°and a circle with its center positioned at the center of the movable control element and its outer circumference spaced apart 20 mm from the center of the movable control element.
