PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing circuit which is capable of sufficiently compensating a temperature characteristic of a response speed of a liquid crystal display device, which is different by gradations, while suppressing the extension of a circuit scale. SOLUTION: The image processing circuit for the liquid crystal display device, which performs overdrive processing, includes; a LUT 1 for overdrive which outputs an overdrive operation value on the basis of image data of a preceding frame and image data of a present frame; a plurality of LUTs 2 for temperature compensation which output compensation values for temperature compensation to the overdrive operation value; a LUT selection circuit 3 for selecting the LUTs 2 for temperature compensation on the basis of temperature data; and a compensating operation circuit 4 which operates an overdrive output value on the basis of the overdrive operation value output from the LUT 1 for overdrive and a compensation value output from the LUT 2 for temperature compensation selected by the selection circuit 3.
