PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a damage of a liquid crystal display 20 by a foreign matter such as a glass caret 30 existing on a base 11 of a table. SOLUTION: This positioning table 1 for manufacturing the display device has the base 11 for loading the liquid crystal display 20, a plurality of projected parts 12 formed on the surface of the base 11 and having a curved surface at the tip part and positioning members 13a, 13b for arranging the liquid crystal display 20 on a predetermined position on the base 11, wherein a surface connecting tip parts of the plurality of projected parts 12 is considered as a loading surface M-M on which the liquid crystal display 20 is horizontally loaded and the liquid crystal display 20 is arranged at the predetermined position on the loading surface M-M by sliding the liquid crystal display 20 on the tip parts of the projected parts 12 to contact the positioning members 13a, 13b. The plurality of projected parts 12 are formed with mass density of 4 pieces/cm<SP>2</SP>or more and 6 pieces/cm<SP>2</SP>or less. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
