PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plane structure of a building applicable even to a change in future usability by simultaneously securing a large space and a small scant space. SOLUTION: An objective building is a medium and high-rise building having a square plane of a 3×3 span, and is used as a head office building. Respective floors having the square plane are composed of a girder 4 arranged in a well curb shape in a plan view, an outer peripheral beam 6 arranged in an outer peripheral part and a beam 7 arranged between the girders 4 and 4 or between the girder 4 and the outer peripheral beam 6. The girder 4 is particularly supported by an outer pillar 2 and a center pillar 1 except for a corner pillar 3, and constitutes a well curb frame. The span length is equalized, and the center pillar 1 is arranged only on one diagonal line of the square plane. A core part 5 for arranging an elevator and a stairs room is respectively added to a central part of one side Sx and Sy in the orthogonal two directions X and Y of the square plane, and a seismic response control damper is arranged in the respective core parts 5 for improving aseismatic performance of the building.
