PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum-degassing treating method for molten steel with which, in the vacuum-degassing treatment, the reaction interface area is increased by making small bubbling diameter of blowing gas and also, uniformly dispersing the blowing gas bubble in the cross sectional area of an immersion tube, and the remarkable growth of solid metal is restrained at the outlet side of a gas blowing hole. SOLUTION: This vacuum-degassing treating method is performed as the followings, that is; in a circulating course of the molten steel, with which a vacuum-treating chamber having two or more of the immersion tubes at the lower part is set on a chamber for charging the molten steel and inert gas is blown from one or more tubes in two or more immersion tubes dipping into the molten steel and the molten steel is introduced into the vacuum treating chamber by utilizing the raising movement of the gas and the molten steel is returned back to the vessel from the remained immersion tube; when the inert gas is supplied at more than the prescribed flowing quantity, this inert gas temperature is heated to 200-1000°C and also, the blowing pressure of the inert gas is adjusted to≥0.5MPa.
