PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent misstart of ABS control although not under running in an ABS control device for a motorcycle. SOLUTION: Running condition determination (Step 100), racing determination (Step 140) and noise determination (Step 160) are executed as ABS control permission determination processing. When the erection of a main stand precludes running of a motorcycle, when an engine is determined to be raced or when noise is detected, the start of the ABS control is prohibited. By so doing, the ABS control device for a motorcycle can prevent misstart of the ABS control although not traveling. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
