PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving tool excellent in an air launching prevention function of a fastener by a simple structure. SOLUTION: This driving tool is provided with: a rod 2 for driving the fastener 15; an inner guide 30 for guiding the fastener 15 and the rod 2; an upper part outer guide 29 for slidably holding the inner guide 30; and an operating member 24 constituting a part of a safety device not to operate the rod 2, even if pulling a trigger. A pressing ring 39 to press the operating member 24 is fixed at a rear end of the inner guide 30. The inner guide 30 can not be retreated down to a lock releasing position unless pressing the inner guide 30 on a workpiece W.
