PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning rod holding device which is used for holding a spinning rod on a boat side, when fishing on a boat, facilitates the attachment/detachment of the spinning rod, and stably supports the spinning rod so that a reel is not rotated in the circumferential direction of the spinning rod. SOLUTION: This spinning rod holding device is characterized by disposing horizontal holding members 20 or 21 for loading the reel portion of the spinning rod at both the right and left ends of the fixing portion of the spinning rod holding device to prevent the rotation of the spinning rod. The holding members are characterized by comprising leg portions detachably vertically disposed on the fixing portion, horizontal plates disposed on the upper ends of leg portions, and cushioning portions disposed on the horizontal plates.
