The design makes a flexible, fabric-reinforced hose (13) connection between two rigid connectors (11, 12). The two flexible tubular ends (14, 15) of the hose (13) are surrounded by rings (16, 17) in a region of overlap (19, 20). Catches on the rigid connectors engage the tubular hose ends. The rings include holding tabs (21, 22) which grip down over a peripheral external flange of the rigid connectors. The rings also include catch projections engaging the flexible tubular ends.
