CONDUCTIVE ENDLESS BELT AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS MAKING USE OF THE SAME

A conductive endless belt that in the aspect of structure, has properties, especially setting resistance, ensuring endurance to repeated continuous uses, and that with respect to glossiness and conductivity, exhibits stable performance; and an image forming apparatus making use of the same. There is provided a conductive endless belt comprising a base material composed of a thermoplastic polyalkylene naphthalate resin and a thermoplastic resin having two or more types of ester bonds other than the thermoplastic polyalkylene naphthalate resin, the base material loaded with a conductive filler, wherein the weight ratio between thermoplastic polyalkylene naphthalate resin and thermoplastic resin having two or more types of ester bonds is in the range of 95/5 to 55/45, and wherein the thermoplastic resin having two or more types of ester bonds contains at least one of each of amorphous type and crystalline type. Further, there is provided an image forming apparatus making use of the conductive endless belt.
