PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform geometric transformation with moire suppressed without degrading image resolution.

SOLUTION: An image conversion apparatus 100 for geometrically converting input image data and outputting output image data comprises an inverse coordinate conversion part 104 for inversely converting coordinate values in the coordinate system of the output image data into coordinate values in the coordinate system of the input image data according to the geometric conversion. The inverse coordinate conversion part 104 randomly changes coordinate values belonging to the same division out of the inversely converted coordinate values when every area between pixels in the coordinate system of the input image data is divided into a plurality of divisions.
