PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive charge controlling resin with which an electrophotographic functional component part coming into contact with a toner can be made chargeable in a polarity reverse to the polarity of the toner, and which has excellent dispersibility and compatibility with a main binder. SOLUTION: The positive charge controlling resin comprises a copolymer obtained by polymerizing a specific (meth)acrylic ester monomer, an amino group containing monomer and a carboxy group containing monomer as copolymerization components.
