<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a sheet which exactly estimates the correspondence after orientation of thickness adjustment means and precisely adjust the thickness without producing a loss when the sheet is produced. <P>SOLUTION: In the method, a molten material is extruded in the shape of a sheet by using a die having a plurality of thickness adjustment means, a desired sheet is obtained by implementing prescribed processing including orientation or foaming, the thickness distribution in the width direction of the sheet is measured, an operation quantity applied to the thickness adjustment means corresponding to each measured position is calculated on the basis of the measured value, the thickness adjustment means are operated according to the operation quantity, and the thickness of the sheet is controlled. By comparing the thickness distribution in the width direction of the sheet before the processing with the thickness distribution in the width direction of the sheet after the processing, the correspondence relation between the positions in the width direction of both sheets is determined. On the basis of the determined correspondence relation, a corresponding position in the width diredction of the sheet after the processing in relation to the thickness adjustment means is determined, and the thickness of the sheet is controlled on the basis of the determined corresponding position in the width direction of the sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
