MANUFACTURING METHOD OF RUBBER-COATED CORD AND RUBBER EXTRUDER FOR IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a manufacturing method of a rubber-coated cord allowing filling of the hollow part of a hollow cord with a rubber through a simple control and an apparatus for the method. SOLUTION: A rubber coating head 1 comprises composite die including a molding die 2 and a clearance-expanding die 3 and a passage 17. The molding die 2 is used in topping of a rubber 8 after insertion of a cord L and arranged at the tip of the rubber coating head 1. The clearance-expanding die 3 is used to deform the cord L into an elliptical shape and fill the hollow part 7 of the cord L with the rubber 8 and arranged in the downstream of the molding die 2 in the incoming direction of the cord L.
