PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal equipment which increases/decreases sound volume naturally for the human hearing sense by increasing/decreasing the sound volume, for the hearing sense, of sound outputted from a sound output part with an equal difference when a plurality of discrete volume setting values provided in the mobile terminal equipment are switched sequentially. SOLUTION: In the mobile terminal equipment, acoustic strength (sound pressure) values each of which becomes an equal difference as actual sound volume for the human hearing sense, are made correspondent, respectively to a plurality of discrete volume setting values provided in the mobile terminal device itself. Thus, when the volume setting values are switched sequentially, the sound volume, for the hearing sense, of sound outputted from the sound output part is increased/decreased with the equal difference.
