PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tatami mat which does not cause creases even loaded by the feet of a person is applied to a tatami mat surface and has flexibility on a surface and is light in weight and is water washable and has deodorizing and antibacterial effects. SOLUTION: At least two core materials 2a, 2b sandwich synthetic resin plates 3a, 3b, and a synthetic resin tatami mat 1 is joined to its surface by stitching at a side surface of the core material. The synthetic resin tatami surface 1 is sewed on an upper surface of the core material on the surface side by sandwiching another synthetic resin plate 3a, a synthetic resin foamed sheet 4a, and a deodorizing sheet 5. A synthetic resin foamed sheet 4b is provided on a lower surface of the core material on a rear surface, and the synthetic resin tatami mat 1 is joined to the side surface of the core material by stitching. A liquid far infrared ray radiating matter is sprayed on a rear surface of the tatami mat 1, and thickness of the tatami is approximately 30-55 mm and the weight thereof is not more than 6 kg per square meter.
