PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid type engaging/disengaging device capable of surely moving an engagement member to a disengaging position. SOLUTION: The solenoid type unlocking device 1 is connected inbetween a movable core 12 of a solenoid 11 and a lock pin 4 by a connection mechanism 13. The connection mechanism 13 is equipped with a connection member 16 fixed to the movable core 12 and a connection section 17 formed in the lower end section of the lock pin 4, and both of them are connected in a state to make it possible to relatively move by a distanceδ. An initial movement period until the movable core 12 moves by the distanceδsince shortly after the solenoid is turned on is in an idling state, the connection mechanism 13 is changed over to a connection state after the movable core 12 attains a sufficient speed, and the lock pin 4 starts the movement to an unlocking position 4B from a locking position 4A by the movable core 12. Large load does not act in the case of the initial movement of the movable core 12, impact force acts on the lock pin 4 to start the movement after the movable core 12 has big kinetic energy, and the lock pin 4 can be surely unlocked.
