PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect a fraudulent ball whose diameter is smaller than that of a normal game ball in a game machine for playing a game by hitting a game ball from a hitting device toward a game area where a winning port is set. SOLUTION: A standby flow path 221 for aligning the game balls before being supplied to the hitting device 61 and making them stand by is provided with a monitoring means 280 for monitoring the presence/absence of the fraudulent ball whose diameter is smaller than the normal game ball and the use of the fraudulent ball is prevented. Also, the monitoring means 280 is provided with an exaggerating means (exaggerating member 281) for exaggerating the change of the position of the game ball due to the difference of diameters between the regular game ball and the fraudulent ball, and by making the difference of the diameters between the regular game ball and the fraudulent ball remarkable, even the use of the fraudulent ball of a diameter slightly smaller than the regular one is monitored and a fraudulent action is prevented more surely.
