PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner by which dust sticking to a pleat filter rotated by a motor is separated and removed. SOLUTION: In the vacuum cleaner having a pleat filter 104 arranged in the mid of a suction wind path from a dust suction port for sucking dust to a suction port of the motor driven blower of the cleaner body and dust removing means 88, 88A impart vibration to the pleat filter 104 and removing the dust sticking to the pleat filter, the dust removing means 88, 88A have first dust removing members 88 abutting on the mountain portion 104a in the upstream side of the pleat filter 104 and second dust removing members 88A abutting on the mounting portion 104b in the downstream side of the pleat filter 104, dust falls down in a sheet back trim cover by vibrating the pleat filter 104 by the first and second dust removing members 88, 88A abutting the mountain portions 104a, 104b of the pleat filter 104 by the pleat filter 104 relatively rotating and moving relative to the first, second dust removing members 88, 88A.
