PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shifting rotation speed display device for a vehicle provided with a transmission. SOLUTION: The vehicle is provided with a manual transmission 10, and a controller 2 to determine a shift position, and determine engine rotation speed based on the determined shift position and car speed. It is provided with an engine rotation speed display means 1a to display engine rotation speed determined by the controller. When the shift position is changed, in a case where a shift lever is moved from the shift position through a neutral position to either of prescribed positions (positions b and d) provided at each of shift gates 1x-6x, the controller takes the shift position corresponding to the shift gate for a new shift position, and target engine rotation speed at the new shift position set in accordance with detected car speed is displayed in the engine rotation speed display means.
