PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple-structured and low-cost water treatment apparatus which improves a water quality improving function by using unglazed molded Kohga stone (Bt rhyolite). SOLUTION: The water treatment device comprises an air pump P, an airpipe 1 for air discharged from the air pump P, and the unglazed molded Kohga stone S disposed so as to be brought into contact with a part of the airpipe 1-1.
