PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make file management easy even if the number of files largely increases to manage including video files. SOLUTION: The information recording medium has user areas in a plurality of areas. The user areas are arranged with guard areas therebetween and physical sector numbers are set to the physical sectors in the user areas and the guard areas. Further, logical sectors are defined with logical sector numbers and also logical blocks are defined with logical block numbers. There is a location where the physical sector numbers do not continue where the logical sector numbers continue. The length of the logical sectors are the same as the physical sectors and the length of the logical blocks are the same as the logical sectors. AV addresses are set in the video files.
