PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance an operation rate of an apparatus for adjusting floating height of a head together with efficient parallel processing of glide inspection by performing glide inspection of a plurality of disks to be inspected and adjustment of the floating height of the head for inspection in parallel. SOLUTION: The glide inspection apparatus is provided with: a rotation mechanism 105 rotating and moving a plurality of heads 101 provided at a fixed interval on a circumference relatively to a plurality of spindles 102a to 102f and switching individual correspondence thereof; a glide inspection control means rotating the spindles 102a to 102e, performing glide inspection to the plurality of disks 103 to be inspected by using the corresponding heads and distinguishing adjusting time of each head 101; and a head adjustment control means switching correspondence between the heads and the spindles using the rotation mechanism 105 so that the disk whose adjustment time is distinguished by the glide inspection control means corresponds to a reference disk 104.
