PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily generate a deformation image by reflecting the feature of an object image. SOLUTION: A predetermined face image is previously stored, as a reference image, in an image processor, which uses a predetermined corresponding point retrieval method as an input image is input to obtain a corresponding point between the input image and the reference image, and automatically calculates a deformation vector for each corresponding point of the reference image from each corresponding point of the input image. Then, an intermediate point for each of the automatically calculated deformation vectors is set as a deformation destination, and the input image is deformed toward the such deformation destination to generate a deformation image. Furthermore, by normalizing the pixel value of each pixel in the deformation image by the mean value and variance value in an adjacent local area, or the like, a deformation image like an illustration is generated.
