PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a blend rubber composition which is made by blending NBR/EPDM blend rubber with a sulfur-based vulcanizing agent and an organic peroxide and molds a vulcanized molded article effectively useful itself. SOLUTION: The blend rubber composition for molding a dust cover or boots is obtained by mixing 100 parts wt. of blend rubber composed of 75-50 wt.% of NBR and 25-50 wt.% of EPDM with 0.1-10 parts wt. of a sulfur vulcanization-based compound and 0.5-10 parts wt. of an organic peroxide. The vulcanized molded article obtained by vulcanization and molding from the blend rubber composition has not only excellent oil resistance and ozone resistance necessary as a dust cover or boots such as CVJ boots but also, by using a sulfur-based vulcanizing agent and an organic peroxide, attains improvement of compression set resistance and durability in good balance.
