PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device and an image forming device equipped with it capable of feeding sheets stably even if a separating means has moved. SOLUTION: The sheet feeding device to feed sheets one by one separately is equipped with a feed roller 31 for giving a feeding force to the sheets, a retarding roller 32 to press the sheets to the feed roller 31 and separate the fed sheets into pieces, and a supporting member 42 to support the retarding roller 32 swingably around a swing support point 43, wherein the supporting member 42 has a guide part 42a to guide the sheet separated in a downstream side in the sheet feeding direction of the sheet separation part to work with the retarding roller 32.
