Provided is a battery case, which reduces defective products by operating a vent by operation pressure, and thus improves safety of a battery. The battery case is configured to form at least one vent(11,12) on the top(10) or bottom thereof. Two grooves(13,14) are formed along the periphery on at least one side of the top(10) or bottom. The vent(11,12) is formed between the end parts of the two grooves(13,14). The groove(13,14) has a V shape. When the top(10) or bottom having the grooves(13,14) is divided into an inside part(15) and an outside part(16) using the grooves(13,14) as a boundary, the vent-forming part has the same height as the inside part(15) and the outside part(16). |
