AUTOMATIC LEAK CHECK DEVICE FOR CABLE-IN-CONDUIT-CONDUCTOR AND ITS METHOD

An apparatus and a method for checking a leakage of a CICC(Cable-In-Conduit -Conductor) automatically are provided to check an error of a melting part by forming a transfer unit and an extra display unit. An apparatus for checking a leakage of a CICC automatically includes a helium detector(10), a transfer unit(20), a display unit(30), and a control unit(40). The leakage checking apparatus checks an error of the CICC after injecting helium into the CICC. The helium detector(10) moves around the CICC, and detects the leakage of the CICC. The transfer unit(20) transfers automatically the helium detector(10) around the CICC. The display unit(30) is formed to be integrated with the helium detector(10), and displays a leakage part of the CICC which is detected by the helium detector(10). The control unit(40) is connected to the helium detector(10), the transfer unit(20), and the display unit(30). A shielding unit is formed on a helium detection part of the helium detector(10). A fuzzy gas pipe is connected to a side of the shielding unit.
