<p>An evaluation method for a rolling bearing part capable of easily and properly detecting the collapse of the shape of the raceway surface of the rolling bearing part formed of raceway rings (1, 2) or the rolling element (3) of a rolling bearing. First, the number of apexes and the amplitude of the rolling bearing part are provided by the results of a harmonic analysis for the roundness of the rolling contact surface of the rolling bearing part. The number of apexes and the amplitude thus provided are logarithmically converted, and the regression lines of a relation between the logarithmically converted number of apexes and the amplitude are provided. Based on the deviations of the number of apexes and the amplitude from the regression lines, the collapse of the shape of the rolling contact surface is evaluated.</p> |
