The equipment (2) has a support mechanism (4) for transporting a barrel. A suction unit and a stopper (8) are positioned relative to each other at the mechanism. The suction unit has a suction cup (6), which draws the barrel to be transported to the stopper. The suction unit has a vacuum pump, which operates with a small voltage potential. The suction unit is arranged perpendicular and lateral to the barrel. An independent claim is also included for a fork-lift truck comprising accessory equipment.
