The hangtag device (1) includes a hangtag mechanism (2), and a hangtag (3) fixed to the hangtag mechanism. The hangtag has an outer covering (4) made of plastics and arranged surrounding a noise generator. A discharge opening mechanism (6) is arranged in the outer covering for outwardly releasing noise from the noise generator. A pushbutton is provided for activating the noise generator.
