摘要 <p>A vibration damper (10) enabling the simplification of a piping structure for connecting a negative pressure chamber in which a membrane is used as a partition wall and a chamber of a valve mechanism for opening and closing a second restriction passage to a drive pressure supply source and the simplification of an operation for connecting the negative pressure chamber and the chamber of the valve mechanism to the drive pressure supply source. The inner pipeline (63) of a communication pipe (62) disposed on the inner peripheral side of an outer tube member (20) allows the negative pressure chamber (60) to communicate with the chamber (102). A pipe connection part (106) and a supply/discharge pipe (110) allows the chamber (102) to communicate with the supply/discharge port (114) of a selector valve (112) on the outside of the damper. The selector valve (112) allows the supply/discharge port (114) to selectively communicate with either of an intake manifold (130) as the negative pressure supply source and an atmosphere space. Thus, since the negative pressure chamber (60) is allowed to communicate with the chamber (102) through the communication pipe (62) disposed on the inner peripheral side of the outer tube member (20), the same pressure (either of a negative pressure and the atmospheric pressure) as a pressure in the chamber (102) can be supplied into the negative pressure chamber (60) by merely supplying either of a negative pressure and the atmospheric pressure into the chamber (102) through the supply/discharge pipe (110) and the pipe connection part (106).</p>
